York St John 1st vs. York 2nd
March 17th, 2010A disappointing Varcity game saw a misfiring York side blow their promotion dreams out of the water. A good season but second best doesn’t half reflect the potential of this team. Two lax twenty minute periods resulted in York St John’s build an unassailable 20-3 lead with just over twenty minutes reaming. Final result 23:13.

Sunderland 1st vs. York 2nd
March 14th, 2010Sunderland give York the walk-over and these three points see York move to the top of their league (Northern Conference 3B).
