Once again its the time of year where the infamous Competition of the Roses has come forth and the boys of the UYRUFC are prepared to face their rivals. It has been 3 years since Lancester has last held the Rugby Roses Trophy and the UYRUFC are more determined than ever to keep it this side of the Dales! Can the UYRUFC carry on their spectacular season and come out on top against their rivals, or will Lancaster cause an upset and steal the trophy away from the UYRUFC?

Official UYRUFC training has begun this week, although with some boys having trouble getting back into the country there are plenty of members keen to be part of this year’s squads. Stay connected with the UYRUFC Roses Blog for the following two weeks and all the news of who, what, and where the UYRUFCians are training and preparing for this intrepid match.

We hope to bring you the daily news from the camp from members who has faced off against Lancaster and a new look from the Freshers eagerly awaiting this event.
